Mike Rocket And The Stars are a roots rock band based in northern New Jersey. Their music is appealing to just about every type of audience. It has been heard several times on national television and on major New York, New Jersey, & Philadelphia radio stations. The shows are packed with energy and songs people can sing to.
Mike Rocket also performs solo at various places around the country as a singer-songwriter. Rocket has been compared to Springsteen and is known by tens of thousands of "The Boss's" fans. Rocket has been known to show up to perform in the parking lot outside of many Springsteen and Bon Jovi concerts.

The song, which was almost used as the New Jersey tourism commercial, but which lost out to Bon Jovi's "Can't Go Home", has been heard on several television and radio stations and shows including: The Early Show (CBS), 95.5 WPLJ NY, 101.9 WRXP NY, Fox Across America, Fox 5 NY, Sirius,G-Rock Radio,95.9 WRAT, NJ 101.5, Upstage Radio,The Jersey Todd Show, 93.3 WMMR & Radio 104.5 Philadelphia, 92.3 K-ROCK NY, & WTMD Maryland.
