His passion and energy are infectious and his music appeals to a diverse audience.
In 2012, Mike Rocket was selected to be the opening act at the prestigious South by
Southwest Music Conference (SXSW 2012).

Dubbed "the hardest working man" by some, he is different from many artists in his
relentless, fearless, self-promoting, and outside the box tactics. Rocket often sets up
and performs in places like Times Square, outside stadium concerts, at network
television shows, and by the entrances of large festivals in order to expose his music
to the masses. To date, he has been seen/heard on national television as well as on
major New York, New Jersey, & Philadelphia radio stations. After four years of setting
up outside the Firefly Music Festival, Mike became an official performer in 2016!
Mike Rocket has performed at BB King Blues Club in New York 8 times since 2008.
Rocket has played for most of the 90,000 fans each year at the Firefly Music Festival.
The Mike Rocket Band was featured on the front page of The Asbury Park Press
as they kicked off Light Of Day 2014. Rocket participates in this event each year.
On the final night, Rocket was among musicians on stage with Bruce Springsteen.
Rocket has been on stage with "The Boss" now several times during the finale.
Over the past few years, Rocket has been seen several times on The TODAY Show.
Carson Daly recently gave Rocket a brief plug before his show at BB King's.

In 2013, Rocket handed his music the the legendary Clive Davis. This was during
Davis's "Soundtrack of My Life" lecture at the Apple Store SoHo.
During this live iTunes Podcast, Davis introduced "Mike Rocket" to the audience.
A few minutes later another artist asked Mr. Davis what it takes to 'get a break'. During
his response, Mr. Davis said, "As Mike Rocket points it out: 'Hard work', 'tenacity',
belief, & you just keep doing it."

Over the past couple years, Rocket has been playing in Times Square, outside concerts,
& at large festivals including Firefly Music Festival, The Governors Ball, & SXSW.
AM 1230 WFAS, White Plains, NY has played several of Rocket's songs during the
"Orlando In The Morning" show.
Rocket has been opening and performing "Gotta Get To The Jersey Shore" with The
Nick Clemons Band over the past few years. Guitar legend Ricky Byrd played on his
most recent performance in January. Rocket performed the song live on the Shannon
In The Morning Summer Blastoff 2016 on WCBS-FM NY to open for Bret Michaels.
In 2012,Rocket received international press as an Associated Press picture of him
performing outside the 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief was published.
Mike Rocket And The Stars were the first official showcase act of SXSW 2012. They
also just played the Firefly Music Festival 2016 with some of the biggest acts in music.
Mike Rocket's song, "America's Got Talent", has aired numerous times on
Rocket has performed the CMJ Music Festival three times & also the CBGB Festival.
"Gotta Get To The Jersey Shore" has been on numerous radio and television shows.
Mike has appeared several times on The Early Show (CBS). Dave Price, who is now
on NBC NY, has promoted him multiple times.
Rocket performed "I'm The Guy" at The Apollo Theater during Amateur Night.
Shortly after, the late Ben E. King told Mike, "I heard you cooked it up."

One of Bon Jovi's guitarists, Matt O'Ree, played his first show at BB King Blues Club as
guitarist for Mike Rocket And The Stars.
Rocket has been nominated three times for the Asbury Music Awards and a
couple times for the Philly Music Awards.
