Mike Rocket performs solo and with a band in NY, NJ, and around the country.
Passionate, energetic, and infectious, his music appeals to a diverse audience. 
To date, he's performed in lineups with some of music's top acts at major festivals
including SXSW where he kicked off 2012 to precede Bruce Springsteen, Ed Sheeran,                                          Alabama Shakes, and more as well as The Firefly Music Festival 2016 where he performed
along with Florence and the Machine, Mumford & Sons, Fetty Wap, & Deathcab for Cutie. 

Credited as "the hardest working man in music" by some, Mike Rocket is unique in his
relentless, fearless,
self-promoting, and outside the box tactics. In order to promote his
music to the masses, he shows up with his guitar and banner so he can perform 
outside festivals, by concerts, and at network televisions shows like The TODAY Show.
He has been on the shout outs several times in the past couple years on The TODAY Show,
where he has appeared over 30 times.

To date, he has been seen/heard on national television as well as on major
New York, New Jersey, & Philadelphia radio stations.
Rocket has been getting multiple plays of his cover of Springsteen's "Give the Girl A Kiss"                                              on Sirus XM E Street Radio this year.
After four years of jamming outside the Firefly Music Festival, Mike became an official
performer in 2016.  Also in 2016,Rocket got to perform his song "Gotta Get To The Jersey Shore"                         live on The Shannon in the Morning Summer Blastoff on WCBS FM NY to open for Bret Michaels.
In 2020, Mike Rocket is expected to portray an iconic rock star in a motion picture. 

Mike Rocket has performed at the legendary BB King Blues NYC 10 times.
He has played the Hard Rock Atlantic City over 30 times in the past three years.
Rocket has played for most of the 90,000+ fans each year at the Firefly Music Festival.

Rocket participates in the Light of Day Festival in Asbury Park each year, fighting 
Parkinson's disease. Sometimes celebrities, including Bruce Springsteen, show up.

Over the past few years, Rocket has been seen multiple times on The TODAY Show.
Carson Daly gave Rocket a brief plug before one of his shows at BB King's.
Dylan Dreyer has given Rocket a couple of shout outs in the past two months.

Mike's recent full band performances have included
 drummer Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez.

In 2013, Rocket handed his music the the legendary Clive Davis. 
During this live iTunes Podcast, 
Davis introduced "Mike Rocket" to the audience.
Shortly after, another artist asked the legend what it takes to 'get a break'. During
his response, Mr. Davis
said, "As Mike Rocket points it out: 'Hard work', 'tenacity',
belief, & you just keep doing it."

Over the past few years, Rocket has been playing outside concerts, outside festivals, 
and officially at festivals including Firefly Music Festival, CMJ, & SXSW.

Rocket has been opening and performing "Gotta Get To The Jersey Shore" with The
Nick Clemons Band over the past few years. Guitar legend Ricky Byrd played on 
a recent performance. The song has received airplay on several stations.

In 2012,Rocket received international press as an Associated Press picture of him
outside the 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief was published.
Mike Rocket And The Stars were the first official showcase act of SXSW 2012. They 
also played the Firefly Music Festival 2016 with some of the biggest acts in music.

Mike Rocket's song, "America's Got Talent", has aired numerous times on

Rocket performed "I'm The Guy" at The Apollo Theater during Amateur Night.
Shortly after, the late Ben E. King told Mike, "I heard you cooked it up."

Rocket has been nominated several times for the Asbury Music Awards the Philly
Music Awards.
